This project involved the illustration and design of I Love You Because…, a heartfelt children’s book written by Bianca Monterrosa and published by Yummy Kids Club. The book’s concept revolves around celebrating love and connection, making it a visually engaging experience for young readers and their families. Art Direction and Design
Art direction and design were led by Jade Box, with creative assistance from Natalie Shannon. Every illustration and design element was carefully tailored to match the book’s theme of affection and togetherness. A unique feature of the book is the custom font, "Eddy," created in honor of Jade’s late uncle. Inspired by his unique personality and artistic flair, the "Eddy" font brings a deeply personal touch to the book, celebrating his memory in a way that resonates with the book’s theme. This thoughtful addition makes the project especially meaningful, adding an extra layer of sentiment to each page.
